Wisdom teeth removal: Third set of Molars
Wisdom teeth are third set of molars that people get in their late teens or early twenties. These teeth are the last or most posterior teeth in your mouth. By the fact that wisdom teeth are the last ones to come up, a lot of times there is just not enough room for them to erupt completely.
If wisdom teeth are left alone in an impacted condition, they can cause infection/swelling and damage the teeth/gum next to them. Most wisdom teeth removal surgery is done under local anesthetic.
